MLB News: Arbitration Hearings
Saturday, November 17th, 2007: The MLB salary arbitration hearings will be held today. For a few fleeting hours, general managers, players and their mouthpieces will conduct a risky game of verbal tug-of-war. When the decisions are announced tomorrow, general managers will have a much better grasp of their budget in the upcoming free agent market. One thing is for certain -- when the results go public tomorrow, someone in Major League Baseball won't be happy.
